shri vidya ke yantra ko ‘shriyantra’ kahte hain. ismen jo ‘shri’ shabd aya hai vah shri vidya ka hi vachak hai aur ‘yantra’ shabd shri vidya ke yantra svarup ka vachak hai. keval yahi ek aisa yantra hai jo samast brahmand ka pratik hai. yah pranavasvarup shabd maha parabrahma- svarupini adi prakritimyi shri vidya rup mahatripursundri ka aradhna sthan hai. yah divya dham hai, divya rath hai. iska svarup manohar hai. ismen samast devtaon ki aradhna aur sabhi prakar ki upasnaen hoti hain. ismen sabhi amnaon, kramon, acharon, vidyaon evan sabhi tatvon ka samavesh hota hai. sabhi varnon, ashramon, sanpradayon ke sabhi prakar ke adhikari iski upasna kar sakte hain. shri yantra ka svarup: shriyantra ka svarup manohar hai aur iska vinyas vichitra. iske bichonbich bindu aur sabse bahar bhupur hai. bhupur ke charon or char dvar hain. bindu se lekar bhupur paryant iske kul das prakar ke avayav hote hain, jo kramshah is prakar hain- bindu, trikon, ashtakon, antardashar, bahirdashar, chaturdashar, ashtadal, sho'shadal, tinvriÿa aur tin bhupur. puja ke avasar par bindu bhi tin mane jate hain, jisse ki iske kul solah avayav hain, ve ek ke bad ek is tarah anusyut hote hain jisse inke anya kai avantar kon evan rekhaen ban jati hain.

inmen hyagriv sanpraday men trivriÿa nahin hota hai, anand bhairav sanpraday men trivriÿa to hota hai, kintu usmen puja nahin hoti evan dakshinamurti sanpraday men shriyantra men trivriÿa bhi hoti hai aur usmen puja bhi hoti hai. saranshtya yantron men shriyantra hi mukhya hai kyonki isse brahm evan shakti donon ki upasna ki jati hai. shriyantra men 153 devtaon ka bhagvti devi ke rup men pujan kiya jata hai. shriyantra ko vibhinn akaron men bhi banaya ja sakta hai jaise anguthi, laeket, banh par bandhne vale tabij ke rup men, batue men rakhne ke lie sikke ke rup men, uphar dene ke lie frem adi ke rup men. shriyantra-darshanarthah shri vindhyavasini kshetra men ashtabhuja ke mandir ke pas bhairvkund namak sthan hai. vahan par ek khandahar men shuddh aur vishdakar shriyantra rakha hai. dusra shriyantra farrukhabad jile ke tirva namak sthan men hai. yahan ek bara sa mandir hai jise annapurna ka mandir kahte hain. vastav men yah tripura ka mandir hai. ek unche chabutre par sangamaramar patthar par bahut bara shriyantra bana hai aur uske kendrasth bindu ke upar pashankush dhanurbandhra bhagvti ki sundar chaturbhuji, ji pratima hai. is mandir ko kisi tantrik sadhak athva mahatma ke adeshanusar lagabhag 100-125 varsh purva raja tirva ne banvaya tha.

vah grihasth bahut hi nirdhan tha. bhiksha dene yogya mutthi bhar chaval bhi uske ghar nahin tha. nidan brahman patni ne shankar ke hath men ek anvla dekar rote hue apni nirant avastha ka varnan kiya. brahmani ki dukhad nirdhanata se karunamurti shankar ke komal hriday ko dravit kar dala. unhonne vahin khare hokar karuna vichlit chiÿa se shri vidya ki adhishthatri devi adya shakti bhagvti mahalakshmi ki stuti praranbh ki aur unke vani se anayas hi karuna purn komal kant padmavli se akrisht hokar bhagvti mahalakshmi dekhte-dekhte acharya ke sammukh apne tribhuvan mohnrup men prakat ho gai aur komal shabdon men kaha-‘‘beta, mainne tumhara abhipray jan liya hai, lekin is nirdhan parivar ne purva janmon men aisa koi bhi sukrit punya karya nahin kiya jisse main inhen dhan de sakanu.’’ shakracharya ji ne bare hi vinit shabdon men karunamyi anba se nivedan kiya ki- ‘‘purvajanm men is brahman ne yadi koi srikrit nahin kiya hai jiske falasvarup use dhan sampaÿia di ja sake, to isse kya hua? mere jaise bhikshuk ko anvle ka dan dekar usne jo mahan punya rashi arjit ki hai uske karan yah atul dhan sanpÿia ki adhikari ho gayi hai.

yadi ap mere upar prasann hui hon to is parivar ko daridrata se mukt kar dijie.’’ is yukti ka bhagvti khandan nahin kar saki aur prasann hokar devi ne kaha- ‘‘yahi hoga, main inhen prachur sone ke anvle dungi.’’ yah sunakar acharya shankar prasannata ke sath brahmani ko shighra dhanvan hone ka ashirvad dekar guru grih laut gaye. dusre hi din pratah kal brahman danpÿia ne dekha unke ghar men sarvatra seane ke anvle bikhre pare hain. is ghatna ka ullekh ‘shankar digvijay ke chaturth sarg men sangopang hai. is prakar se ham yah dekhte hain ki n keval shri vidya ke upasak apitu shri vidya ke upasak jis par prasann ho jaen, us par bhi bhagvti shri ki kripa ho jati hai, ismen sandeh nahin. shri vidya ki sadhna hetu uske adharbhut ‘shriyantra’ ko samjhna prathmtah anivarya hai. is shriyantra ko artabhav (antahkrn) se shraddhapurvak pujan karne par bahuton ko dhan sanpÿia prapt hui hai v prapt ho rahi hai.
