pranam ya abhivadan vrat pan. brajkishor bharadvaj 'brajvasi' hamare jivan men pranam ya abhivadan vrat ka ek vishisht sthan hai. pranam bhartiya sanskriti ki vinamrata v shishtata ka pratik hai. pranam hamari unnati path ki sadhna hai. pranam hamari dainyataon, riktaon, abhavon tatha apurnataon ko dhvast karne ki ek mahatvapurn vidhi v karan hai. pranam ke dvara asanbhav bhi sanbhav ho jata hai. pranam manav jivan ke advitiya charitra ko nikharta hai. pranam bare-bare mahapurushon, satpurushon, balkon tatha svayan koti-koti brahmand nayak jagat niyanta ke dvara bhi apne jivan men apnaya ja chuka hai. parantu bare khed ki bat hai ki aj pranam ke mahatva ko n janakar janmanas pranam ki paranpra ko bhulakar , hailo, hay, aur bhai, hath milana, bay-bay, gud marning, gudaivning, gudauftaranun adi jaise shabdon tak hi simit rah gaya hai.

adhik hoga to ghutnon tak kabhi dayan to kabhi bayan hath pahunchta hai jo ghutne ko sparsh bhi nahin kar pata. yah ya to hamare desh ke murdhanya vidvanon, shankracharyon, jagdguruon, mahamandleshvaron, mandaleshvaron, brahmanon, santon, mahatmaon, pujniya, vandaniya astik janon ke gyanopdesh ya fir mata-pita parivarjnon ke sanskar v shiksha ka abhav hi kaha jayega. is gyan ko ham sabhi ko apne jivan men charitarth karna hai. charitarth karna hi- bhartiya sanskriti ki maryadaon evan nitiyon ka pratik hai. yah tabhi sanbhav hai jab hamare jivan men pranam vrat ki parampara ka palan ho. is vrat ka palan kisi bhi samay se kiya ja sakta hai.

pranam vrat se uttam v shreshth koi vat ho hi nahin sakta, kyonki is vrat men dhan kharch hota hi nahin, varan vibhinn prakar ke labh svatah hi arjit ho jate hain. prashn uthta hai ki pranam kise karna chahie, kaise karna chahie, isse labh kya-kya hain? pranam ham apne baron arthat gurujan, rishijan, pujya jan (mata-pita- dadi-babaa - chachi chacha yani parivarik sadasya v, sanbandhijan, mitrajan, guni v shreshthajan, sadhujan ko karte hain, jinke mangalamay ashirvad se hamen dirghayu, uttam vidya, akshay yash aur aprmit bal ki prapti hoti hai. hamari bhartiya sanskriti men to pashu pakshiyon jiv jantuon, gayon adi ko pranam kar ashirvad prapt karne ki parampara hai. shri manuji ki ek sundar ukti hai. abhivadnshilasya nityan vriddhopsevinah . chatvari tasya vardhante ayurvidya yasho balam॥ yahi nahin, baron ka ashirvad hamare jivan men sukh aur samriddhi ki bhi varsha karta hai. baron ke charnon men prithvi par letakar tatha mastak tikakar kiya jane vala pranam hi vastavik pranam hai, jise ham sashtang pranam kahte hain, ek hath se abhivadan karne ka shastron ne nishedh kiya hai.

donon hathon se arthat dahine hath se dahine pair ko tatha bayen hath se bayen pair ko chukar pranam karne ki vidhi hai. abhivadnshilta manav ka sarvochch gun hai. ismen namrata, vinay, shil, adar, man, shraddha, seva, ananyata evan sharnagti adi ka bhav anusyut rahta hai. multah pranam sthul deh ko nahin apitu antaratma men pratishthit narayan ko hi kiya jata hai. atah pranam ke utkrisht bhav ko apne men pratishthit karne ka satat prayatn karte rahna chahiye. bachchon men to yah sanskar praranbh se hi dal dena chahiye. abhivadan sadachar ka mukhay ang hai. isse n keval laukik labh hi prapt hote hain apitu adhyatmik path bhi prashast ho jata hai. puranon men abhivadan ke bal par divya labhon ko prapt karne ke anek drishtant prapt hote hain.

ek din saptarshi udhar se gujre. balak ne nitya niyam ke anusar bari-bari se unhen bhi pranam kiya aur 'dirghayu' ka ashirvad prapt kiya. saptarshiyon ki vani asatya kaise hoti. maharshi vasishth ne kshanabhar vicharakar kaha- oho ! hamlogon ne ise dirghayu hone ka ashirvad to de diya hai. kintu iski ayu to chah mas hi shesh hai. saptarshi balak ko lekar brahmalok gaye, apne svabhav ke anusar balak markandey ne brahmaji ko pranam kiya aur unhonne bhi dirdh ayu prapt karne ka vardan de diya. is var vasishthaji ne kaha- prabho ! apne bhi is balak ko dirgh ayu prapt karne ka var de diya hai aur hamne bhi ise yah var diya hai, kintu apke vidhan ke anusar hamari tatha apki bat mithya n ho vaisa upay karne ki kripa karen.

brahmaji muskara uthe aur bole- munivro ! aplog chintit n hon, is balkne apne vinay evan abhivadan ke bal par kalko bhi jit liya hai. atah yah balak ab chiranjivi hoga aur fir markandeyji kalpakalpantajivi ho gaye. is prakar 'pranam' ki bari mahima hai. pranam ek aisa amogh ast hai jiske prabhav se anek asanbhav karya bhi sanbhav ho jate hain. isi sandarbh men dharmaraj yudhishthir ke pranam ka vah prasang ulilkhit hai jisne mahabharat yuddh ke parinam ko badal diya ghatna mahabharat ke yuddhakal ki hai. kaurvon aur pandvon ki senaen ranbhumi men paraspar yuddh ke lie taiyar khari thin. yuddh praranbh hi hone vala tha. tabhi pandvnresh yudhishthar ne apna mukut aur kavach utarakar rath par rakh diya aur fir astra shastra tyag kar ve nangen panv hi kaurav sena ki or chal pare.

tum nishchint hokar yuddh karo. tumhari vijay hogi. han, samay ane par main svayan apne par vijay prapt karne ka upay tujhe bata dunga.' maharaj yudhishthir shatrupaksh ke dusre bare durg ko jitakar age kulguru shrikripacharya ki or barhe. unke pas pahunchakar yudhishthir ne charon bhaiyon ke sath unhen bhi pranam kiya aur fir unse unhin ke viruddh yuddh karne ki anumti mangi. is par kripacharya prasann hokar bole- 'main tumhen apne viruddh yuddh karne ki anumti deta hun. rajan ! yah satya hai ki mujhe koi mar nahin sakta, lekin main tumhare vinypurn vyavhar se aj itna prasann hun ki main pratidin pratah uthakar sarvapratham tumhari hi vijay ki mangal kamna karunga jisse nishchay hi tumhari vijay hogi.' shrikripacharya ka bhi ashirvad lekar ant men dharmaraj yudhishthir kaurav paksh ke chaturth parakrami yoddha maharaj shalya ke pas gaye. yahan ullekhniya hain ki maharaj shalya pandvon ke mama the tatha ve pandvon ki or se yuddh karne ke liye a rahe the, kintu isi bich duryodhan ne ek nayi rajnitik chal chali.

tathapi jab dharmaraj yudhishthir ne apne charon bhaiyon ke sath maharaj shalya ke pas pahunchakar unhen pranam kiya to maharaj shalya bole- 'yudhishthir ! main to tumhare paksh men hi yuddh karne ke liye a raha tha, lekin khed hai ki marg men duryodhan ki chal men a gaya. fir bhi meri sari shubhashansa ab bhi tumhare sath hai. atah ab main tumhari keval is rup men madad karunga ki jab maharthi karn ka arjun se yuddh hone ko hoga, tab kauravadal men mere atirikt shrikrishn ke samaksh rath ka sanchalan karne vala koi aur shurvir nahin hoga. atah us samay kaurav vivash hokar mere pas ayenge aur fir se karn ke rath ka sanchalan keval is shart par svikar karunga ki yuddh ke dauran main jo kuch bhi kahun, karn use chupchap sunta rahe. uska n to vah pratipad kare aur n koi uttar hi de. yadi usne uttar diya to fir main rath ka sanchalan chor dunga.

1. pratahkal uthi kai raghunatha. matu pita guru navhin matha॥ (mata-pita gurudev ko pranam) ram ka

2. suni guru vachan charan siru nava. (vishvamitra ji ke charnon men pranam ki ram ka)

3. kinhu pranamu charan dhari matha. dinh asis mudit muninatha॥ (mithilapti jankji ka mahamuni vishvamitra ji ke shri charnon men pranam)

4. bandi vipra sur gur pita mata॥ pai asimas mudit sab bhrata॥

(brahmanon, devtaon, guru, pita aur mataon ki vandana karke raghuvansh shiromni ram ne shatruon sahit ashirvad pradan kiya.) kahne ka tatparya yah hai ki shri ramchrit manas hi kya, apitu hamari vaidik sanskriti ke sabhi granthon men pranam, vandan ki parampara ka dirgadarshan hota hai, jo hamen ihlokik v parlokik sukhon ko pradan kar sarvantayaparsi shri hari ke shri charnon ki alaukik v divya bhakti pradan karta hai.

atah ham sabhi ko is pranam ki parampara ko apne jivan men apnakar kalyankari marg par ko prashast karna chahie. yahi manav jivan ka param lakshya hai.
