pratyakshan jyautishan shastram- jyotish shastra ka adhar pratyakshata hai aur kalasarp yog ke sandarbh men bhi hamen pratyakshata ko hi adhar manna chahie. kalasarp yog se pidit jatkon ke jivan men kashton ka adhikya, santanhinta, rog, nirdhanata, parishram ke bad bhi uchit fal n milna adi ashubh prabhav is yog ke astitva tatha iski ganbhirta ko pradarshit karne ke lie paryapt hain. atah avashyak hai
ki jansamanya ke sath-sath jyotish samaj ka prabuddh vidvadvarg bhi jyotish shastra ke kshetra men hue is vaigyanik shodh ki mahatta ko svikar karen aur is ashubh yog se pidit jatkon ke kalyan hetu age aen. ‘kalasarp yog’ shabd tin shabdon kal, sarp aur yog ke milne se bana hai. ‘kal’ shabd ka prayog vaidik kal se hota a raha hai aur aj ka sanpurn jyotishshastra ‘kal’ par hi ashrit hai- ‘jyotishan kalvidhanshastram’’. ‘surya-siddhant’ men kal ke do svarup kahe gaye hain, ek gannatmak kal aur dusra lokadi ka sanharak kal- ‘lokanamantakrit kalah kalo'nyan kalnatmakah’ is kalasarp yog shabd men prayukt ‘kal’ shabd donon hi arthon se yukt hai.
abhipray yah hai ki yah jyotishiya yog jatak ke sanpurn jivan par apna prabhav dalta hai aur nakaratmak falotpadak hone ke karan bhay bhi utpann karta hai. is yog ka dusra shabd hai- ‘sarpa’. yah ‘‘sarpa’’ shabd bhautik sarisrip jiv ‘sarpa’ se bhinn hai aur iska arth hai- rahu-ketu namak chaya grah. bhartiya jyotish shastra ke prachin granth ‘brihatsanhita’ men ek sarp ki kalpana ki gai hai jiska sir rahu aur punch ketu ke rup men svikrit hai. -‘mukhan puchch vibhaktang bhujangamakarmupdishantyanye’ is jyotishiya yog ka akhiri shabd hai ‘yog’. yog shabd ka arth hai ‘judna’. yah shabd vibhinn grahon ke madhya sanbandhon ko darshata hai.
aise avasar ya sanyog jismen do ya do se adhik grah-rashi-nakshatradi sanyukt hokar dukhad ya sukhad sthitiyon ka nirman karte hain ‘yog’ kahe jate hain. is tarah mote taur par kaha ja sakta hai ki - ‘rahu tatha ketu dvara janmang men banne vala vah yog jo jatak ke lie ajivan kashtaprad hota hai, kalasarp yog kaha jata hai.’’ kaise banta hai kalasarp yog yadi kisi vyakti ke janmakal men samast grah rahu tatha ketu ke madhya hon to kalasarp yog ka nirman hota hai. kaha bhi gaya hai- ‘‘rahutah ketumadhye agachchanti yada grahaah. kalasarpastu yogo'yan kathitan purvasuribhiah.’’ rahu tatha ketu ki lagnadi dvadash bhavon men sthiti ke adhar par ye pramukh rup se barah prakar ke mane gae hain.
abhipray yah hai ki rahu lagn bhav men tatha ketu saptam bhav men sthit hokar kalasarp yog ka nirman kar rahen ho to yah anant kalasarp yog kaha jaega. isi prakar janmakundli ke anya bhavon men rahu tatha ketu ki sthiti ke adhar par inka namakaran 12 prakar se kiya gaya hai. kya is yog ka varnan prachin granthon men hai? iska sidha sa javab hai - nahin. jyotish shastra ke prachin granthon jaise gaurijatakam, vrihatparashrhorashastra, jaiminisutram vrihajjatak, saravli, sarvarthachintamni, jatkabharanam, adi men ‘kalasarpayog’ nam se kisi bhi jyotishiya yog ka ullekh nahin milta hai.

is tathya ke samarthan hetu prachin granthon men upalabdh kuch sandarbhon par drishtipat karte hain- nabhsyogon men se ek ‘sarpayog’ ke sandarbh men maharshi parashar ne kaha hai ki aisa vyakti kutil, krur, nirdhan, dukhi, din tatha dusron ke ann par nirbhar rahne vala hota hai. isi yog ke sandarbh men varahmihiracharya, kalyanavarma, dhundhiraj, minraj adi ne bhi paryapt drishti dali hai. in granthon ke vibhinn shapon ka bhi ullekh hai aur ismen ‘sarpashap’ bhi ek hai. santanhinta ke sandarbh men yah ‘‘sarpashap’’ atyant mahatvapurn mana gaya hai. ‘katrtari’ sanbandhi jyotish shastriya avdharna bhi is sandarbh men vicharniya hai.
pap katrtari ke madhya fansa koi bhi grah shubh falotpadak nahin ho pata hai,sath hi yah ashubh fal bhi deta hai. yadi ganbhirta se vichar karen to spasht ho jata hai ki ‘kalasarp yog’ bhi ek vrihat papakatrtari hi hai jiske bich sare grah fanse hote hain. yahi karan hai ki samast grah pidit hokar shubhafal utpann karne men asamarth ho jate hain sath hi jatak ka sanpurn jivan kashtaprad ho jata hai. dusri bat yah hai ki yadi keval prachin jyotishshastriya granthon men ullekh ko hi yogon ki pramanikta ka adhar mana jae to aj ke sandarbh men jyotish shastra ki upadeyta sandeh ke ghere men a jaegi. jaise aj ke samaj men sarvadhik mahatvapurn padon ai. e. es., ai. pi. es., pradhanmantri, vidhayak, sansad, kanpyutar injiniyar, adi ka ullekh prachin granthon men milta hai.

hamare prachin manishiyon tatha daivagyaon ne jyotishshastra ke kshetra men hue shodhon ka sadaiv svagat kiya hai aur yahi karan hai ki jyotishshastra hajaron varshon ke bitne par bhi satat pragti ke path par agrasar hota ja raha hai.
