muli, gajar ki tarah, paudhe ki jar ke rup men paida hoti hai. iske paudhe men n koi tana hota hai aur n koi shakha hoti hai. iska svad charchrapan lie rahta hai. muli ki kai kismen hoti hain. harek kism rang aur akar men bhinn hoti hain. am taur se muliyan do prakar ki hoti hain: safed aur lal. lekin safed muuli hi adhik prachlit hai. khane ki sag-sabjiyon men muli vishesh sthan rakhti hai. salad men iska upyog adhik hota hai. muli men sabse adhik kailshiyam paya jata hai. ismen vitamin ‘si’ ki matra bhi kafi hoti hai tatha faesforas aur alp matra men loha bhi hota hai.

ayurved ke anusar muli kai rogon ko dur karti hai. yah charmri, halki, garam, ruchikar, pachak, hriday ke lie labhkari, mutra dosh, bavasir, kshay, netra rog, shvas, kan, vat, kaf, kushth adi anek rogon men labhkari hoti hai.

tvacha: muli ke bijon ko ninbu ke ras men pis kar lagane se dad men labh hota hai. muli ke bijon ko sirke men pis kar safed dagon par lagane se safed dag thik ho jate hain.

pathri: muli ke bijon ka churn, pratidin pratah aur sayan kal, jal ke sath lene se pathri men labh hota hai. muli ke bijon ko pani men tab tak ubalen, jab tak pani adha n rah jae. tatpashchat, thanda kar pine se pathri gal kar bahar nikal jati hai.

piliya: muli ki jar aur patton ko khane se piliya rog men labh hota hai. muli ke ras men thori chini dal kar pine se piliya men aram milta hai.

madhumeh: madhumeh rog men muli khana labhkari hai. muli, salad ke rup men, halka namak laga kar khane se madhumeh men vishesh labh hota hai.

hichki: sukhi muli ke tukron ko pani men ubal kar karha pine se hichki aur shvas rog men labh hota hai. muli ka bhojan vishesh upyogi hota hai.

iska achar, murabba, salad, sag aur chatpte vyanjnon ke rup men upyog kiya jata hai. vitamin e, bi, si ki kami ke karan jo rog hote hain, jaise nimoniya, mutrashmi, rataundhi, beri-beri mastishk vat, hriday daurbalya, shvasiya rog adi, muli ke patte in rogon ko nasht karne men sahayak hote hain. iska karan yah hai ki muli men vitamin si adhik matra men hota hai. savdhaniyan: alsar ke rogiyon ko muli ka sevan mana hai.
