matrartha: mantra sadhna ke rahasya- vatte aaa ne ke anusar- ‘‘amantramaksharan nasti nastimulmnaushadham’’ arthat koi aisa akshar nahin, jo mantra n ho aur koi aisi vanaspati nahin, jo aushdhi n ho.

keval avashyakta hai akshar men nihit arth ke marm ko aur vanaspati men nihit aushdhi ke marm ko janne ki. aur jab mantra shastra evan sadguru ki kripa se iske arth ko hridyangam kar liya jata hai, tab maharshi patanjli ke shabdon men- ‘‘ekah shabdah samyag gyatah suprayuktah svarge loke ch kamdhuk bhavti’’ arthat yah ek hi shabd bhali bhanti janne pahchanne aur mantra sadhna men prayukt hone ke bad kamdhenu ke saman sadhak ki sabhi manokamnaon ko pura karta hai.

mantra koi sadharan shabd nahin hai. yah to divyashakti ka vachak evan bodhak hota hai. iski yah visheshta hai ki divya hote hue bhi iska ek vachyarth hota hai aur iski dusri visheshta yah hai ki yah devta se abhinn hote hue bhi uske svarup ka bodh karata hai.

mantrarth gyan ki avashyakta mantra jis shakti ka, jis rup ka aur jis tatva ka sanket karta hai aur vah jis lakshya tak sadhak ko le ja sakta hai, yadi in samast sanketit arthon ki jankari sadhak ko ho jae, to use apni mantra sadhna men adhik suvidha ho jati hai. isilie mantrashastra ne mantra ka jap karne se purva uske arthagyan ko avashyak hi nahin, anivarya batlaya hai.

mantra yog sanhita ke anusar, ‘‘mantrarth bhavnan japah’’ arthat mantra ke arth ki bhavna ko jap kahte hain. aur arthagyan ke bina lakhon bar mantra ki avriÿia karne par bhi siddhi nahin milti kyonki siddhi mantra ki avriÿia matra se nahin milti. vah to jap se milti hai aur jap men arthagyan hona anivarya hota hai, astu.

mantrarth ke bhed: mantra samast arthon ka vachak evan bodhak hota hai - aisa koi arth nahin jo iski paridhi men n ata ho. mantraksharon ke sanketon ki isi visheshta ko dhyan men rakhakar mahabhashyakar ne kaha hai- ‘‘sarve sarvarth vachkaah’’ arthat mantra ke sabhi akshar samast arthon ke vachak hote hain.

kintu jab ek samay men ye mantra kisi ek devta se, uske kisi sanpraday vishesh se aur kisi anushthan/purashcharan se jurta hai, tab vah kuch nishchit arthon ka vachak evan bodhak ban jata hai. mantra shastra ke anusar in arthon ko chah vargon men vargikrit kiya gaya hai. vastutah ye varg mantra ke un arthon ko janne ki prakriya hain.

is tarah mantrashastra ke manishiyon ne mantra ke chah prakar ke arth batlae hain- 1. vachyarth, 2. bhavarth, 3. laukikarth, 4. sanpradayarth, 5. rahasyarth evan 6. tatvarth. tantra agam men in arthon ke bhedon, upbhedon evan avantar bhedon ki sankhya aprimit hai. in chah bhedon men se vachyarth ko chorakar anya panch bhedon aur unke avantar bhedon ka arth gurukripa evan sadhna se gamya hai. jaise-jaise sadhak ki sadhna ka star unnat hota hai aur jaise-jaise us par ishtadev evan gurudev ka vatsalya barhta hai, vaise-vaise sadhak ko mantra ke anya arthon ka bodh hone lagta hai. mantrashastra iske vachyarth ka pratipadan karne men saksham hai. kintu iske anyanya arthon ko gurukripa aur sadhna dvara hi jana ja sakta hai.

bijmantron ke artha: ‘mantra’ shabd ka dhatugat arth hai- gupt paribhashan. jaise bijgnit men a,b,s,d adi akshar vibhinn sankhyaon ke vachak evan bodhak hote hain aur unka man prakriya evan prasang ke anusar ganit ke dvara jana jata hai, usi prakar bijmantron ke akshar bhi gurh sanket hote hain, jinka arth devta, sanpraday evan prayog ke adhar par mantra shastra se jana jata hai.

is vishay men yah sadaiv smaraniya hai ki ek samay men bijmantra ka ek sunishchit vachyarth hone par bhi vah matra usi ya utne hi arth ka vachak nahin hota apitu devta, sanpraday evan prayog men parivartan hote hi vah bhinn arth ka vachak ban jata hai. jaise ‘yog’ shabd yogshastra men chiÿavriÿiayon ke nirodh ka, gita men karmon men kushlta ka aur ganit men do rashiyon ko jorne ka vachak ban jata hai, usi prakar bij (mantra) vi.i bhann devi-devtaon ke sath vibhinn sanpradayon ke anushthan evan purashcharan aon men prayukt hone par vibhinn arthon ka vachak ya suchak ban jata hai. fir bhi mantron men prayukt sabhi bijon ka ek vachyarth hota hai.

yah vah arth hai, jise bahusammat arth kaha ja sakta hai. agam granthon men mantron men prayukt hone vale bijon ke arthon ka vistar se vichar kiya gaya hai. yahan kuch prasiddh bijon ke paranpragat vachyarth hain.

1. hrin (mayabij) is mayabij men h = shiv, r = prakriti, nad = vishvamata evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is mayabij ka arth hai ‘shivyukt janni adyashakti, mere dukhon ko dur kare.’

2. shrin (shribij ya lakshmibij) is lakshmibij men sh = mahalakshmi, r = dhan sanpÿia, i = mahamaya, nad = vishvamata evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is shribij ka arth hai ‘dhansanpÿia ki adhishthatri jagajjanani man lakshmi mere dukh dur karen.’

3. ain (vagbhvbij ya sarasvat bij) is vagbhavabij men- ai = sarasvati, nad = jaganmata aur bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is bij ka arth hai- ‘jaganmata sarasvati mere dukh dur karen.’

4. klin (kambij ya krishnabij) is kambij men k = yogast ya shrikrishn, l = divyatej, i = yogishvari ya yogeshvar evan bindu = dukhaharan. is prakar is kambij ka arth hai- ‘rajrajeshvari yogmaya mere dukh dur karen.’ aur isi krishnabij ka arth hai yogeshvar shrikrishn mere dukh dur karen.

5. krin (kalibij ya karpurbij) is bij men- k = kali, r = prakriti, i = mahamaya, nad = vishvamata evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is bij ka arth hai ‘jag. nmata mahakali mere dukh dur karen.’

6. dun (durgabij) is durgabij men d = durgatinashini durga, ¬ = suraksha evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar iska arth 1. hai ‘durgatinashini durga meri raksha karen aur mere dukh dur karen.’

7. strin (vadhubij ya tarabij) is vadhubij men s = durga, t = tara, r = prakriti, i = mahamaya, nad = vishvamata evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is bij ka arth hai ‘jaganmata mahamaya tara mere dukh dur karen.’

8. haun (prasadbij ya shivbij) is prasadbij men h = shiv, au = sadashiv evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is bij ka arth hai ‘bhagvan shiv evan sadashiv mere dukhon ko dur karen.’

9. hun (varmabij ya kurchabij) is bij men h = shiv, ¬ = bh. airav, nad = sarvotkrisht evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is bij ka arth hai ‘asur bhayankar evan sarvashreshth bhagvan shiv mere dukh dur karen.’

10. han (hanumadbij) is bij men h = anuman, a = sanktmochan evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is bij ka arth hai ‘sank. tamochan hanuman mere dukh dur karen.’

11. gan (ganpti bij) is bij men g = ganesh, a = vighnanashak evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is bij ka arth hai ‘‘vighnanashak shrignesh mere dukh dur karen.’’

12. kshraun (nrisinhbij) is bij men ksh = nrisinh, r = brahm, au = divyatejasvi, evan bindu = dukhaharan hai. is prakar is bij ka arth hai ‘divyatejasvi brahmasvarup shri nrisinh mere dukh dur karen.’

bijarth mimansa: vastutah bijmantron ke akshar unki gurh shaktiyon ke sanket hote hain. inmen se pratyek ki svatantra evan divya shakti hoti hai. aur yah samagra shakti milakar samvet rup men kisi ek devta ke svarup ka sanket deti hai. jaise baragad ke bij ko bone aur sinchne ke bad vah vat vriksh ke rup men prakat ho jata hai, usi prakar bijmantra bhi jap evan anushthan ke bad apne devta ka sakshatkar kara deta hai.
