kal sarp dosh ki tarah jyotish jagat men ‘pitridosh’ bhi sadaiv charcha ka vishay raha hai. jis prakar jyotish premiyon ka ek varg kalasarp dosh ko kuch hi varshon purva pande pujariyon dvara khara kiya gaya ek ‘havva’ manta hai usi prakar samuh ya varg vishesh is dosh (pitridosh) avdharna se purn rupen sahamat nahin hai. in donon doshon men ek anya samanta aur bhi hai vah yah ki is dosh se pirit jatak ka bhi jivan bhar kamovesh vaisi hi sthitiyon ka samna karte rahna jaisi sthitiyon ka samna kalasarp dosh se pirit jatak ko karna parta hai. jaise kalasarp dosh men bhi rahu hi mukhya bhumika nibhata hai usi prakar ismen bhi rahu hi mukhya ya karak grah hota hai.

iske atirikt kuch vidvanon ke anusar yah sthiti dasham ya navam bhav men ho to bhi pitridosh avashya hi hoga. samanyatya dasham bhav pita ka ghar mana jata hai. parantu dakshin men tatha kuch vidvanon ke anusar navam bhav hi vastav men pita ka ghar hai. karan yah hai ki pancham bhav jatak ke putra ka (lagn se pancham hone se) hai aur navam bhav pancham se pancham hai kyonki navam se pancham fir apna bhav arthat lagn (pratham bhav) hota hai. navam bhav apne putra ke putra yani prapautra ke lie bhi dekha jata hai. atah in vidvanon ke mat se uprokt prakar se navam ke pirit hone se nishchit hi pitridosh hota hai.

iske atirikt jatak dvara kie gae kisi bhi karya ka suprinam samay par nahin milta. achchi khasi kamai ke bavjud ghar men bachat nahin hoti. kisi bhi sukarya ke pura hone men bar-bar rukavat ati hai. upar varnit yog-sthitiyon ke alava bhi pitri dosh karak sthitiyan ho sakti hain. yah ek purn satya hai ki pitridosh hota hai aur bahut prabhavi bhi hota hai. ab jara is mahakashtadayak dosh ke kuch anubhut upayon ki bhi charcha kar len. pratyek amavasya ko pitrignon ke nimitt yathashakti ann aur vastra adi dan karen. yah shraddhapurvak karen, labh avashya hoga. surya dev ki vidhipurvak niyamit aradhna karen (aghrya adi den). pratyek amavasya ko tarpan karen ya karaen. shraddhapaksh men apne pitrignon ki niyat tithi par shuddh satvik chitt vale brahman ko bhojan karaen aur vastradi ke sath dakshina dekar shraddhapurvak unka ashirvad len.
baki bhojan (ghar men bache bhojn) ko pitron ka prasad manakar shraddhapurvak grahan karen. labh avashya hoga. shraddhapaksh pure uttar bharat ke atirikt shesh bharat men bhi ashvin krishn paksh men ata hai, keval gujrat aur maharashtra men ‘bhadrapd’ men ata hai. ‘‘sarvebhyo pitribhyo svadhayaimyo svadha namah’’ ka uchcharan karte hue snan karte samay surya ki or mukh karke unhen niyamit jalmatra dene se ve tript hote hain.
apne mata-pita ka niyamit ashirvad len. itne upayon men se kuch upay bhi yadi shraddhapurvak kie jaen to pitridosh grast jatak isse mukti pa sakta hai. uparyukt paristhiti men kisi vidvan ka margadarshan len.
