ratn keval bhagyoday karak hi nahin hote apitu svasthya raksha tatha rogopchar men bhi inka mahatva hai kyonki ratn bhi unhin tatvon aur yaugikon ke sammishran se bane hain jinse manav deh aur brahmand. apne yaugikon ke anusar hi in ratnon ka rang hota hai. apni akarshan evan vikarshan shaktiyon ke dvara sharir men vibhinn tatvon ka santulan banae rakhne men ye saksham hote hain tatha jis tatva (dosh ya mal) ki vriddhi se sharir men vikriti (rog) utpann hui ho use niyantrit karte hain. ratn dharan se svasthya labh aur rogopchar to hota hi hai, ayurved men bhi vibhinn ratnon ki bhasm adi ke dvara rogi ka upchar hota hai. ratn dharan men ratnon ke dvara vibhinn rangon ki bahmandiya grah rashmiyon, kirnon ko sharir men pravisht karakar visarjit kiya jata hai, kyonki ratn iske sashakt madhyam hain.
vidvanon ne vibhinn ratnon ka svasthya par kya prabhav parta hai aur kis ratn se kis rog ki shanti hoti hai is par vyapak anusandhan kiya hai. manikya, padmarag ya yakut: yah surya ka ratn hai. vaise to surya men saton rang hain, lekin lal rang mukhya hai. isilie nange vadan surya snan (pratah kal) svasthyavarddhak mana gaya hai. manikya sharir men sabhi dhatuon ko pusht kar use svasth rakhta hai, jivni shakti barha kar dirghayu pradan karta hai. rakt ko barhane vala aur atmashakti tatha atmavishvasdayak hai.
hriday rog, visheshakar uchch raktachap, men manikya dharan karna atyant labhkari hai. netra dosh men bhi, yadi garmi se barhta ho, to labhkari hai. yah sahas barhata hai. ayurved ke anusar napunskta, dhatukshinta, hridyrog, mandagni, kshay, jannendriya ki shithilta, raktalpata, tatha pandurog (piliya) men vishesh labhdayak hai tatha bal-viryavardhak hai. raktalpata ki mahaushdhi hai. nari ki gati barhata hai aur sharir ko rog se larne ki shakti deta hai.
moti, mukta ya motiya: iska mukhya karya man tatha mastishk ko niyantrit karna hai, atah yah man aur mastishk ke rogiyon ke lie atyant upyogi hai. netra dosh men bhi (yadi shit se rog barhta ho) yah vishesh labhkari hai. muchrcha, mirgi, dantrog, payriya, hriday rog, kampavayu, shvas rog, kafaj rog, kshay, khansi ityadi men vishesh labhdayak hai. yah viryavarddhak hai tatha mutradosh men bhi labhkarak hai. yah kailshiyam ko barhata hai.
chandrama ke saman hi shitlta aur shantidayak hai. munga, praval ya mirjan: is ka mukhya karya rakt dosh nivaran hai. dushit rakt ko shuddh karna, vish ko dur karna, ghav, chot, fora-funsi adi ke kshat chihnon ko shighra pura karna, rakt srav ko niyantrit karna, garbh srav ko rokna, masik dharm ko niyamit karna, adi iske mukhya karya hain. kainsar tatha rakt kainsar men yah vishesh prabhavkari hai. sharir ki kanti ko barhata hai aur bhukh jagata hai.
ayurved ke anusar visham jvar (maleriya) men yah tap ko shant karta hai. kaf vikar, pitt vikar, dah, unmad, bhutbadha, raktachap, hriday rog, netra vikar, kshay, kukkurkhansi, chechak, khasra adi se bachav men vishesh labhkari hai. varn chikitsa paddhati ke anusar sinduri rang arthat deshi munga gurde tatha karmendriya ko uttejit karta hai jabki narangi rang rogapratirodhak kshamata barhata hai. ainthan, jakaran men labhdayak hai. kailshiyam chayapachay men abhivriddhi tatha fefre, agnyashay (painkriyaj) evan pliha ko sashakt banata hai. nari ki gati barhata hai kintu rakt chap ko niyantrit rakhta hai.
panna, marakat, takshrya, marutmat ya jamurn: panne ke tatva sharir men barh jane se pityuitri granthi aur manspeshiyon par kuprabhav parta hai. panna hriday men uttam aur shuddh bhavnaon ko janm deta hai. mansik tanav se mukti dilana aur rakt dhamniyon ka vistar iska mukhya karya hai. tvacha, mans, balon, nason, haddiyon par is ka vishesh rup se prabhav parta hai aur inhen pusht kar ke sharir ko shaktishali banane men sahayak hota hai.
iske sath hi tvacha rog (charmarog), nason ke dosh, haddi ke rog, mans ke vikar (kushtha), balon ke girne, tutne, safed hone adi se bachav men labhkari hai. firoji rang ka panna athva firoja tvacha men hone vale kisi bhi rog se bachav men labhkari hai. sainusaitis ke upchar men upyogi hai. panna pitt rog se bachav men bhi labhkari hai.
ayurved ke anusar yah sannipat jvar, vishvikar, vaman, pyas, amlapitt, pandu, malavrodh, shoth, mandagni, hriday rog, smaranashakti ki kami adi se mukti men labhkari hai. garur mahapuran ke anusar jo vish kisi aushdhi ya mantra se dur n ho, vah isse dur hota hai. pukhraj ya pushparag: yah bhi mansik rogon men vishesh rup se labhdayak hai. buddhi tatha vidya evan vivek shakti barhane men yah param upyogi hai.
man mastishk men akaran evan nirarthak upjne vale bhay, bhram, sanshay, moh aur -bhut-pret badha, jadu-tona adi ke sanshay evan chinta se mukti men yah atyant labhkari hai. yah ratn yadi halke rang men ho to mastishk ke seribral bhag ko anupranit karne vala tatha amla, pitt shamak hota hai. gahre rang ka pukhraj motar tantrikaon ki kriyashilta barhane, manspeshiyon ko majbut banane aur pachan sansthan ko niyantrit karne men bhi labhkari hota hai. yah mans barhane vala aur mans dosh se mukti men labhkarak hai.
pukhraj ki grah rashmiyon (pili) ki vriddhi hone par pitt dosh ke barhne, anton aur pachan kriya ki pranali men garbri utpann hone, sannipat tatha hriday rog (uchch raktachap) barhne ki sanbhavna hoti hai. ayurved ke anusar pukhraj vishvikar, vaman, kaf, vat, mandagni, dah, kushth, bavasir men labhdayak hai. kitanunashak, pittavardhak, jathragni uddipak evan buddhi-viryavarddhak hai.
hira, vajra ya alimas: hire ka sarvadhik prabhav virya, prajanan angon evan sanbandhit rogon, stri rogon (svapnadosh, prameh, prasuti, napunskta, mutra dosh adi) par parta hai. rakt, lar, majja aur shukra ko pusht karne tatha inse sanbandhit rogon ke nivaran men yah vishesh sahayak hai. netra aur mastishk rogon se mukti men bhi labhdayak hai. hire ke purush, stri, napunsak nam se bhi tin bhed hain. bare akar ka gol hira purush sangyak aur uttam hota hai.
shatkon ka hira stri sangyak hota hai. tikona tatha bare akar ka hira napunsak kahlata hai. ayurved ke anusar hira sharir ko pusht karta hai. yah balavardhak, kamottejak aur vat, pitt, kushth, kshay, bhram, kaf, shoth, prameh, bhagandar tatha pandurog (piliya) se bachav men labhdayak hai. suprasiddh jyotirvid acharya varahmihir ne putra ki kamna karne vali mahilaon ko hira dharan n karne ki salah di hai.
kuch vidvanon ke mat se striyon ko putra ki kamna se trikon ya singhare ke akar ka hira pahnna chahie. kuch vidvanon ke anusar hira dharan karne se yuddh men vijay, shatru vashikaran, tej men vriddhi, sukh, vidya labh aur sanpatti adi labh hote hanai.
bijli ka bhay nahin hota, akal mrityu nahin hoti, jadu tone ka prabhav nahin hota, mirgi men labh hota hai. vishaile jivon ka bhay kam hota hai. nilam, nilmni, dakshayan, nilavil yakut: nilam ka mukhya prabhav sharir ke sanchalan par parta hai. nilam ke tatva sharir men aise karan hai
- jis ke karan hi manav sharir ke avyvon ko hiladula sakta hai evan sharir men aisi samathrya rahti hai jis ke tatva ki kami se sharir apang evan ashakt ho jaega. mirgi, pakshaghat, poliyo, vat, raktachap (alpa) se bachav men yah param labhkari hai. yah netra jyoti bhi barhata hai.
yah sharir men chayapachay ko barhata hai. mastishk ki uchchatam sthiti arthat antaprragya ko jagata hai. tvacha ke jalne men aram deta hai. jamuni aur baingni rang ka nilam (v iska uparatn lajavarta) rakt koshikaon ke shodhan men aur potaishiyam ki matra ko santulit rakhne men sahayak hota hai. tivra bhukh lagne ke rog se bachav men labhdayak hai.
tyumar ko rokne men bhi yah sahayak hai. ayurved ke anusar khansi (kaf jyada) dama, maleriya sannipat, shukranu dosh bavasir adi se mukti men bhi labhkari hai.
gomed, silobi, medak ya gomedkah yah nirarthak bhay, mansik tanav, ashanti aur ghabrahat se mukti men faydemand hai. akaran bhaybhit evan udvign rahne vale logon ke lie yah labhkari hai. potaishiyam ka santulan banae rakhne aur tyumar ke vikas ko rokne men bhi sahayak hai.
yah pet ke kire, bhagandar, vayugola, sukhi khansi, kshay, raktalpata, piliya tatha mandagni men labh karta hai. gurda rog, pathri, mirgi aur pet ke alsar men param upyogi hai.
lahsuniya, sutramni, vaidurya: yah shatrunashak, astra-shastra se raksha karne vala aur atmashaktidayak hai. iske dharan se bhut-pret badha aur jadu-tone ka prabhav nahin hota hai. man aur mastishk ke rogon men bhi yah labhdayak hai.
