kanvar se lok v parlok sadhan ashutosh vashrney kandhe par gangajal lekar bhagvan shiv ke jyortilingon par charhane ki paranpra, ‘kavanr yatra’ tirth darshan evan devaupasna ke saman hi kalyankari hai. yah pavitra yatra bhakt ko bhagvan se jorti hai. medini kosh ‘ka’ ka arth ‘brahma’ karta hai aur upnishad ‘avr’ ka arth ‘jiv’ batlati hai. kashch avarashch iti ‘kavrah‘ arthat brahm aur jiv ka milan jiv ke jivatm ka tyag aur brahmarupta ki prapti hi ‘kavr’ ka ek adhyatmik arth hai. jin devadhidev avdhrdani shiv ke liye brahmand ka kuch bhi adeya nahin hai un mahadev ko prasann kar manovanchit fal prapt karne ke anek upayon men kanvar yatra shiv bhakti kar shiv ko prasann karne ka ek saral sahaj marg hai jo shiv-kripa ke sath kanvar le jane vale vyakti ke sarvavidh vikas men bhi sahayak hota hai. lanbi kanvar yatra se kanvriyon ke man men sankalp shakti aur atm vishvas jagrit hota hai. kanvar yatra ka mul uddeshya bhakti marg dvara janmanas men supt satpravrittiyon ka jagaran karana hai. ek tarah se kanvar yatra shiv bhakti ka ek rasta to hai hi sath hi yah hamare vyaktigat vikas men bhi sahayak hai. yahi vajah hai ki shravan men lakhon shraddhalu, (kanvr’ uthane vala kanvriya), shivyogi ke saman rahte hanai. man-vani ya karm se kisi bhi prani ka apkar nahin karte, sab men ekmatra sadashiv ka hi darshan karte hanai. kanvriya keval ghat men hi pavitra jal nahin bharta balki apne kaya rupi ghat men, mastishk aur hriday men gyan aur prem bharakar apne ko parm-punit banata hai. jab kanvar ke do ghat (brahmaghat aur vishnught) purn kar lie jate hain, to use ek bans ki dandi ke sahare saja-dhaja kar aur pujit kar, sthapit kar diya jata hai. dharmashastra ke anusar bans men rudra samahit hain. venugit men bans ki bansuri ko sakshat rudra svikar kiya gaya hai yani ki kanvriya kanvar ke madhyam se sakshat brahma, vishnu, shiv, tinon ki kripa ek sath prapt karta hai.
