amavasya (amavs) yah to thi tithiyon ke anusar kriyaon ki rup rekha. iske sath ek aur vishesh bat ko dhyan men rakhna avashyak hai aur vah hai ritu. ritu hi prakriti hai. to aiye dekhen talika men ki kis ritu men kis kriya ka nishpadan kiya jae. hamara tantra shastra rituon ke anusar karm ke bal ko svikar karta hai. parantu ritu ke ane tak yah pratiksha nahin karta, balki kahta hai ki pratidin vishesh samay par varsh bhar ki rituon ka agaman hota hai. jaise grahan kal, dipavli ki ratri adi. hamare rishi mahatmaon ne kuch atyant chote evan karagar prayog lok labharth prastut kie hain jinmen se kuch yahan prastut hain.
