islie ‘‘vaishvik shivatya’’ ki divya evan uchal bhavna se ot-prot hokar bhartiya ritambhara ki vani hai. ‘‘krinvanto vishvamayem’’ pashchatya jagat men ‘‘vigyan’’ shabd ka jis tarah vyapak arth men prayog hota hai, vaise hi bharat men ‘‘shastra’’ shabd adhik vyapt v saragarbhit hai. manav jivan ke lie jitne bhi prakar ke gyan-vigyan avashyak hain, jitni dishaon men karmashakti ka vistar avashyak hai, sabhi ka samyak aur paripurn vichar bhartiya shastron men kiya gaya hai. vastushastra isi lok kalyankari bhav se udbhut gyan ki amulya dharohar hai. srishti rachna ke sandarbh men srishti ka adi dharak tatha poshak tatva vaidik bhasha men ritu hai, jo ek svayan prakashya pavitra niyam hai. vahi mano manglmyi chetna ko spandit karta hai, bhautik jagat ko sanchalit karta hai tatha adhyatmikta ke mul men sthit param satya hai.

ataev srishti ke samast ang tatha surya, chandra, prithvi adi ka pashu, pakshi aur manav ke sath anyonyashrit sanbandh hai. unke ek ang men parivartan hoga to vah anya angon ko prabhavit karega. aj paryavaran pradushan prakriti ke asantulit shoshan ka hi parinam hai. panch mahabhut manav sharir is srishti ke hi angbhut panch tatvon yatha prithvi, jal akash, agni aur vayu se nirmit hai.

inhin se ajivan usmen vriddhi aur pushti hoti hai. gosvami tulsidas ne bhi likha hai. ‘‘chiti jal pavak gagan samira. panch rachit yah adham sharira.. (manas 4-112) manushya ke sanpurn jivan men ye panch mahabhut naisargik urjaon ke sath milakar mahatvapurn bhumika ada karte hain. ham is dhara par kahin bhi nivas karen, apni jivan shaili ko in panch tatvon v naisargik urjaon ke anurup dhalna anivarya hai. isi men antarnihit hai, vaishvik mangalya men vastushastra ki bhumika.

prakriti ke prati pujya bhav tabhi to hamare rishiyon ne pratah smaran ka vidhan bana kar pratidin prakriti naman ka sanskar hamko pradat kiya haiah- ‘‘prithvi sagandhasar sastadhapah sparshi ch vayujrvelinan ch tejah . namah sashabdan mahatta sadaiv, kurbantu sarve mam suprabhatam..’’ (vaman puran 14-27) prithvi mata hai tatha ham uske putra hain ‘‘mata bhumiah putro'han prishtyiaah’’ is bhav ko nitya nutan v chirantan banaye rakhne ke lie hamari pratah prarthanaah ‘‘samudravsne devi parvatastan mandale vishnupatni namastubhyan padasparsham kshamasya menah’’ ke anusar vastushastriya niyaman ki shivatva ka poshak sanskar hai.

bhagvan shrikrishn ne shrimadbhagavat (11-2-41) men kaha hai: ‘‘ravan vayubhagni salil yahi b otishi satyanidisho duyadin. sarti samudvashch hareah shariran yatkichan bhutan pranbhedashanyah vastushastra ki vyapkta prithvi ke donon dhruvon ke madhya chunbkiya bal rekhaen hai jo manav sharir par spasht prabhav dalti hai tatha dharti ke hi vibhinn sthal hai, jo man par apna sukshm prabhav dalte hain, inhin sab prabhavon ko pahchan kar unke uchit anusthapan ka nam hai vastushastra. isilie vishvakarma ne kaha hai:- ‘‘vastushastra ke vaigyanik evan takniki siddhant keval avasiya sima tak hi prabhavshali nahin hai varan inka upyog audyogik vikas v nagar tatha gram niyojan ke rup men bhi samast manav jati ke bhautik tath adhyatmik kalyan ke lie hai.’’ vaishvik sandarbh men aj vishva men ashanti manav jivan ke har kshetra men atyant tivra gati se vyapt ho rahi hai.

aj manav jis bhautikvadi vaigyanik pragti se asha lagaye baitha hai ki vah sukh, shanti, samriddhi aur suraksha pradan karegi, vahi is vishva ke samast vaibhav, saundarya aur manav sanskriti ko hi samul nasht karne ka karan ban rahi hai. pashchimi avdharna is vinash ke mul men hai- pashchimi avdharna jiske anusar manushya sari srishti se alag hai aur apni ichchanusar dhalne, shoshan v disha dene ki shakti aur adhikar use prapt hai. anold taynbi is avdharna ko hi aj ke paryavaran -vinash tatha manv-jivan men ashanti ko sarvadhik doshi mante hain. û pashchatya vikas ki vibhatsata svami vivekanand ne amerika pravas ke samay bhagiti nivedita se kaha tha, ‘‘pashchim ki jivan yatra ek attahas hai, kintu uske piche rudan hai aur rudan men hi uski parismapti hogi.’’ aj samriddhi ke shikhar par pahunch kar bhi yahi satya dikhai de raha hai ki ve rashtra naitik tatha samajik mulyon ke sankat ka samna kar rahe hain. ekankipan, parivaron ki tutan, madya aur madak dravyon ki dasta, hatya, yaun apradh, talak, atankvad, atma-hatya, kaumarya avastha men garbha-dharan adi ki samasyaen sare pashchimi samajon ke lie abhishap bani hui hai.

kya ise santusht, sukhi samaj ka mangalya chitran ki sangya di ja sakti hai. adhar bhutiyan bhartiya jivan paddhati men dharm, sanskriti, vigyan aur jivan charane kshetron ka vistar saman hai aur uska drishtikon samanvay pradhan hai. srishti ke sath avirodh bhav prapt karne ki paddhati samanvay hai jiske parinam hai- sadbhavna, sadvyavhar aur sat-prem jinka prabhav manav jivan par hi nahin varan prakriti evan panch tatvon par bhi vyapak rup men parta hai. kyonki ye panchatatva bhi utne hi sanvednshil chetan aur jagruk hain jitne ki ham jivdhari manushya. manav jivan shaili v panch tatvon ke sath samanjasya v samanvay hi vaidik vastushastra ka adhar hai, jo vaishvik shivatva ka sutradhar bhi hai.

1. dishaen: hamare rishiyon ne das dishaen batai hai, pratyek dishaon ke sath devtaon ka sanbandh hai. pashchatya bhugol vigyan keval char dishaen manta hai. purvobhimukh baithakar parhne ya karya karne se bauddhik shakti v vichar chetna ka sfuran vishesh rup se hota hai. 

2. prithvi: bhumi ka dhalan purva evan uttar ki or hai jo ki shreshth sthiti hai kyonki purva men uday hone vale surya ki rashmiyon ka labh bhavan men milega, evan uttariya dhruv se prabhavit hone vali chunbkiya tarangon ka pravah nirantar bana rahega. 

3. jal: yadi upyog men ane vala svachch jal din men surya ki kiran aon se prabhavit hota hai tatha ratri men chandrama ki kirnon se prabhavit hota hai to is tarah ke jal ke upyog se nirogta prapt hoti hai. atah pani ka strot ishan men ho to bal, buddhi v tejasvitavardhak sthiti banti hai. n agni tatva: vishva men agni tatva anya sab tatvon ko prabhavit karta hai. agni tatva hi adi tatva hai. iska sthan agney men hai. atah agni tatva ke karya agney disha men hi sanpadit karna shubh hai. anyatha pratikul prabhav hota hai. n vayu: bhavan men nirantar shuddh vayu (pran vayu) ka pravah bana rahe, is tarah ki bhavan nirman yojna avashyak hai. vayavya disha vayu tatva ka sthan hai. pavn-putra hanuman ki bhi jagah hai, ataev vayavya disha men hi bachchon ka shayan kaksh rakha jata hai, taki bachche sanskaryukt hon. 

4. yah to sarvamanya paranpra hai ki uttar ki or sir karke nahin sona chahie. iska karan yah hai ki manav mastishk bhi uttar dhruv ka pratirup hai. ataev uttar ki or sir karke sone se rakt men vikarshan hota hai. parinamasvarup mansik santulan, anek samasyaon ko janm deta hai. n uchch ishan ke karan bachchon ki shiksha prabhavit hoti hai, jisse nirantar arthik hani ki sthiti banti hai. ishan ko atyadhik bharyukt kar dene se akasmik durghatanaon tatha mansik chintakarak yog banta hai. itna hi nahin ishan kon men shayan kaksh hone se apang v sharirik vikriti vale balkon ka janm hota hai. n vastu ke anurup antrik grih sajja bhi manav mastishk par manovaigyanik asar karti hai. chitra charitra ka nirman karte hain. shanti, pavitrata aur prerna dene vale prakriti chitra, devtaon athva mahapurushon ke chitron se hi ghar ko susajjit karna chahie. sat-sahitya ko ghar men sthan milna chahie rangon ka samayojan bhi saumya v satvik hona chahie. atah saumya-sukhad sanvednaon ke sath ghar ka vatavaran anukul v sukh-samriddhimay, mangl-bhavan, amanglhari banane ke lie vastu kala ke niyamon ka palan hitakar hoga. yahin se shivatva ka prasfutan hoga. parantu aj inka parivaron men vishva vyapkta ka abhav hota ja raha hai. parinamasvarup kamuk hinsak anaitik sanskaron ki barhottari parivar jivan ke lie abhishap siddh ho rahi hai. karan shreshth vichar aur bhav ayuvardhak athva amrit pradyata hai. manv-hriday men jaise vichar aur bhav utpann hote hain, vaise hi sanskar uske man par ankit hote hain. 

5. satyam-shivam sundrm: - vastu shastra ke siddhant saral v sahaj rup men grahan kiye jane yogya hain. santulit anupat ka dhyan rakhen bina jo vastu rachna ki jati hai, vah manav hriday evan atma ko nahin ruchikar lagti hai. jivan men sanyam aur santulan nahin rahta hai, jiske abhav men jivan suniyojit nahin ban pata hai. is prakar se sukh-shanti v suraksha ke sath manviya sukomal sanvednaon ke anchal men pallavit v viksit ho rahi satvik samaj rachna men vastu-shastra ki bhumika apratim hai.
