kisi vyakti ke sir ke sirf bare chote hone se hi uske gunon ka anuman nahin lagana chahie kyonki kisi vastu ka ‘‘pariman’’ hi sab kuch hai aisa samjhna galat hai. pariman se adhik mahatva hai gun ka. kyonki sir bare hone se hi vyakti mahan nahin hota.
tin gun ka mahatva is prakar hai:
1. bara pariman - lanbai, chairai, unchai adhik.
2. vishesh vajan - uttam prakar ke mastishk vo kahlate hain jinka vajan samanya vyaktiyon ke mastishk se vishesh hote hain.
3. vishishtata - mahan vyaktiyon ke gyan v pravritti kon sadharan vyaktiyon ki tulna men adhik gunyukt hote hain.
pratham gun ke anusar buddhiman v vidvan purushon ke sir ka nap 21’’ (ikkis inch) aur stri ke sir ka nap 20’’ hona chahie. yah nap kan se upar vale bhag ka lena chahie. 21’’ inch se kam nap ke sir vale log chatur, parishrami, dusron ki bat ko samjhne vale kalakar evan sangitagya to ho sakte hain kintu buddhi ki prakhrta shakti, navin avishkar ki kshamata evan prakand panditya aise vyaktiyon men nahin milega. sir ki gaveshna karte samay kuch baton ka vishesh dhyan rakhna chahie- sir ke age ka bhag lalat kahlata hai. yah bhag chaira v uncha nahin hona chahie.

3. sir ka nap kanon ke upar se hi lena chahie. 21’’ nap ke bad adha ya paun inch adhik ho to vyakti vyapar kushal evan parishrami hoga.
