ratri, divya ratri, siddharatri, vir ratri, kalratri darun ratri, vir ratri, mohratri tatha maharatri bhi kaha jata hai jisse spasht hai ki mahakali v kamla maharatriyan tatha chinnamasta aur baglamukhi vir ratriyan kahlati hain. dusri or in dash mahavidyaon men se chinnamasta, dhuma tatha matangi aur kamla vidya ki shreni men tatha shodshi, bhuvneshvari v bhairvi aur baglamukhi siddh vidyaon ki shreni men ati hain. keval mahakali aur tara hi kramshah mahavidya tatha shri vidya ke nam se jani jati hain. vastav men dekha jaye to sabhi dharmon ke dharmagranthon men mahapralay ka ullekh anivarya rup se milta hai. us ke varnana-vistar men antar ho sakta hai lekin un sabhi granthon men vah is srishti ke aranbh ki sarvadhik pratham evam mahatvapurn ghatna ke rup men samavisht hai. mahakali vahi adi shakti hanai jisse srishti ke vikas kram ki gatha aranbh hoti hai aur is prakar age ki shesh nau aur mahavidyaon ki bhumika apna-apna yogdan deti hui kamla arthat mahalakshmi ki attahas karta hai vahi bhayanak rup hai is mahakali ka. vah daravni v ghor rupa to hai parantu abhayapad ki prapti usi ki upasna se hoti hai. usi ke bad udbhav hota hai srishti ke nit-nutan rup ka. 2. ugratara: dirghakalin mahapralay ke shitkari ghor andhkar ke bad udit surya ka jo tap ugra v tivra dahak shaktimay pratit hota hai, vahi akash-mandal men prakat pratham tara hone se ugratara namak shakti hai jo sab prakar ki nakaratmakata ka vinash karke srijan ka adhar banne ko atur sanharak shakti hai kyonki bina samatal ke navsrishti ki ninv ka patthar apne sthan par tikta nahin. pralay ki (vishvotpatti ke kram men shodshi ki satta ka purn vikas isi rup men hai). panch vaktra shiv sva, par, surya, chandra tatha prithvi in panch rupon men vyakt hain. inmen se keval surya men hi shodshi ka purn vikas hota hai. ismen surya indratmak hai. shatapath brahman (4/2/5/14) men isi indratmak surya ko ‘indrah vai shodshi’ kaha gaya hai. surya men hi man, pran aur vak tinon ka vikas hai. surya men in tinon ki satta hai. solah kalaon ka vikas bhi isi men hai. isiliye surya ki shakti ka nam hi shodshi hai. bhu, bhuvah tatha svah tinon lok bhi isi shakti se utpann hue hain. isliye tantra men is shakti ko tripur sundri kaha gaya hai. pratah kal ka bal surya is ki sakshat pratikriti hai. yah shakti sab jivon par ankush rakhti hai. brahma, vishnu, yam tatha rudra iske adhin hain. 4. bhuvneshvari: yah bhuvnon (vishva) ki utpatti ke pashchat unka sanchalan karne vali shakti hai. sansar men jitne bhi jiv v praja hai sabko unhin tribhuvan vyapt bhuvneshvari se ann mil raha hai jisse 84 lakh yoniyon ke jiv astitva men arthat jivit hain. yah rajrajeshvari nam se prasiddh hai. vah tin bhuvnon ke padarthon ki raksha karti hai. 5. chinnamasta: sansar ka palan karne vali shakti ann ka agaman band ho jane par antkal men chinnamasta banakar nash kar dalti hai. is shakti ka bhi mahapralay se vishesh sanbandh hai. 6. tripur bhairvi: yah dakshinamurti kal bhairav ki mahashakti hai. tripur bhairvi un padarthon ka nash karti hai jinki raksha ka bhar tripur sundri par rahta hain. tribhuvan ke padarthon ka kshanik vinash isi shakti par nirbhar hai. yadi chinnamasta para dakini hai to yah bhairvi avra dakini. pratikshan padarthon ka vinash isi shakti ke dvara nitya pralay ke niyamantargat hota rahta hai. 7. dhumavti: yah purush-shunya vidhva nam se prasiddh mahashakti hai. param purush mahakal ki karnbhut ichcha ke bina shakti ka astitva lakshya vihin shakti jaisa garimarhit v shrivihin rahta hai kyonki sarva dukhon ka mul karan pradhan rup se daridrata hi hai. isiliye lok men is shakti ka nam daridra bhi hai jisse jivan dhunye se achchadit akash ke saman dishavihin dikhai deta hai. is ki kripa hone par satya-path prakash se alokit ho uthta hai. nishpattirupa dhumavti pradhan rup se chaturmas men rahti hai. is kalavdhi men pranmyi jyoti tatha jyotirmay atma hinvirya rahta hai. isi tam bhav ke nirakaran ke liye aur kamlagaman ke upalakshya men vaidh prakash yani dipavli sajane aur agni krida (atishbaji) ka prachalan raha hai. 8. baglamukhi: yah ekavaktra maharudra ki mahashakti valgamukhi tatha sare tantrik jagat men baglamukhi nam se prasiddh hai. praniyon ke sharir men ek atharva nam ka pran sutra rahta hai jise ham sthul rup se dekhne men asamarth rahte hain. isi ke karan ham atyant durasth apne nikatatam sanbandhi se jure rahakar unke sukh-dukh ka antrik rup se anubhav karte hain. isi shakti sutra se hajaro mil dur baithe vyakti ka akarshan kiya ja sakta hai. yah us parmeshvar ki sabse anokhi shakti ka lila-vilas hai. pratyek prani men is atharva sutra ko pakrne ki alg-alag kshamata hoti hai jo ek manav ki indriyon ki grahn-kshamata se pare ki chij hai. yah atharva rupi mul pran-vasna pratyek vyakti ke vastra, nakhun, bal tatha rom-rom men vas karti hai. isiliye kisi vyakti ki prayog ki hui ya usse juri vastu ke adhar par us vyakti ka manmana prayog kiya ja sakta hai. isi atharva sutra rupi mahashakti ka nam hi baglamukhi hai. is kritya shakti ki aradhna karne vala vyakti apne shatru ko manmana kasht pahuncha sakta hai. unke svarup sanbandhi dhyan se bhi yah bat spasht ho jati hai. jihvagramaday karen divin vamen shatrun paripidayantim. gadabhidhaten ch dakshinen pitanbrakhyan dvibhujan namami. (shakt pramod-baglamukhi tantra) ‘main us do bhuja vali devi ko naman karta hun jo apne jibh ke agle bhag ko bahar nikale hue bayen hath se shatruon ko pira pahuncha rahi hai tatha dayen hath men gada dharan karke shatruon par aghat kar rahi hai. 9. matangi: yah shakti shiv ke matang svarup ki mahashakti hai jo tin netravali shyam varna tatha ratn ke sinhasan par virajman hai. bhakton ki abhisht kamnaon ko pura karne ke sath-sath asuri vritti vale vyaktiyon ko jangal ki ag ki tarah jalakar bhasm kar deti hai. devi ka yah svarup rajsi aur satviki vritti ka poshak hai. atah yah unhin ke yog-kshem ka vahan karte hue unka poshan or vikas karti hai kyonki inhin donon vritti vale vyaktiyon men shiv-bhav ka yathesht vikas sanbhav hota hai. 10. kamla: yah dhumavti arthat daridra ki pratispardhi shakti sadashiv purush ki mahashakti hai. vah dhuma ke sarvatha viprit hai. iska ashay sarvavidh samriddhi aur vikas se hai. aj ka manav vikas ke isi charan men pahunch kar vartaman ke sabhi sukhon aur sadhnon ka upbhog kar raha hai jiski parinti apne charam bindu par pahunchakar fir se pralay ki vinash-lila ki or agrasar ho jayegi. yahi hai srishti ka vikas kram aur srishti chakra jo nitya-srishti v nitya-pralay ke dhuvon ke bich gatiman rahta hai.
